How it works

One step at a time, big enough to see from across the room.

Now, then nextThe current step fills the screen with its picture and a timer bar. Done steps shrink away; the next ones wait below.

Pictures that moveA toothbrush that scrubs, a shirt that drops on, bubbles in the bath. Twenty solid icons a toddler can read, or your own photos.

Bedtime fades to nightBefore lights out the whole app slowly turns from day to dusk, and the routine ends with a sleepy sunset.

Routinius Pro adds unlimited routines, more children, your own photos, your own recorded voice and extra night skies. $9.99 once, $7.99 a year, or $1.99 a week.

Bedtime that winds itself down.

Set a lights-out time and, 45 minutes before, Routinius starts fading from day to dusk. The sun on the horizon sinks a little with every step your child finishes.

At the end, the sun yawns, closes its eyes and sets. Stars come out, the moon rises, and the screen says goodnight. Free, always.

Questions parents ask

What ages is it for?
Routines work from about age 2, as soon as a child can match a picture to an action, up to the early school years. The visual timer works for any age, including teens and adults who like to see time.
Does it help children with autism or ADHD?
Visual schedules and visual timers are widely used by parents, teachers and occupational therapists to make routines and transitions predictable. Routinius is a tool for that, not a treatment. If you work with an OT or teacher, show them your routines and adjust together.
Can my child close it or change things?
Editing, settings and purchases sit behind a grown-up multiplication question, and closing a running routine needs a press-and-hold. To keep a child inside the app, turn on iPhone’s Guided Access.
Is it free?
Two routines (any length) and one child are free, and the visual timer, dusk mode and the bedtime sunset are always free. Pro adds unlimited routines, more children, your own photos, your own voice and more night skies: $9.99 once, $7.99 a year, or $1.99 a week.
Does it collect my child’s data?
No. There is no account, no ads and no analytics in the app. Routines, photos and recordings stay on your device.
